Hello,
IIT JAM is an online entrance exam for M.Sc In Chemistry / Physics / Biotechnology / Biological sciences / Mathematical statistics / Mathematics / Mathematical Physics etc. From different IITs. You cannot pursue MCA through IIT JAM.

MCA will be better, if you have completed B.Sc CS. You can also go for M.Tech in CS, which is a good option rather than MCA. All the best.

It will be really difficult to complete MCA without a BCA, because your basics aren't in your mind which is essential in MCA for more depth study. So, according to me and my opinion it is not a good idea to pursue MCA after B.Com.

No, you cannot get admission with any backlog in any subject. So you have got a good rank but you need to clear your back log because the college does not accept backlogs.

Both are technically the same. If you are taking the integrated MCA check whether there's an option to leave the course after you finish the Bachelor's part. You might feel that you wish to have a change, then it's important that the college allows that.
