MCA (Lateral) at Manipal Institute of Technology is a two years program. The eligibility criteria is Pass with a BCA or BSc (CS / IT) from a recognized university, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks or equivalent.
Admission criteria: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2019. Candidates with consistent academic performance will be given additional weightage while preparing rank list.

Further IGNOU offers minimum 3 years duration MCA program through distance mode the eligibility criteria is as under.
Eligibility: Any Bachelors degree of minimum 3(three) year duration from a recognized University AND Mathematics as one of the subject at 10+2 level or graduation level.
Course fee: Rs 64800
SMU-DE is another good option for pursuing MCA distance.
