No. you will not be able to get admission to a government medical college with a rank of 1248776 in NEET. The cutoff for government medical colleges in India is usually very high, and this year is no exception. This means that you would need to score at least 69,000 rank in NEET in order to be considered for admission to Government medical colleges.

As an SC category candidate with an expected score of 243 marks in NEET, you may have opportunities for admission to government or deemed medical colleges with lower fees. However, the specific colleges and their fee structures can vary based on factors such as state quotas and counseling procedures.

Well, this varies from state to state and this year all the colleges have not gone through NEET but they will be next year onwards.  So I'm guessing a score even around 490–500 should get you into the top college in your state and 450 should get you into some colleges too.

Hello,

According to the previous year's cut off, a candidate belonging to the SC category scored 546 marks and the college allotted was Guahawti Medical College, through the state quota.

So a safe score for your category would be 540+ marks, and chances are low, of you getting a government medical seat in Assam.

You can get the following colleges at this score-

  1. Sukh Sagar Medical College and Hospital
  2. Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences
  3. Subharti Medical College
  4. Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur
