You have a chance. Go for it but it also depends if you are applying from home quota or other state.
All the best!

There are no chances of getting admission in any NIT, as of ST category the seats close within 1000 rank.

MNIT, Jaipur should be your last option. You can go for SPA, Delhi as it does not have the 75% criteria for class 12th boards.

Last year (2017), my friend got 219 marks in JEE Mains Paper 2 and 81% in 12th from CBSE Board and he belongs to OBC category. His Gen rank was 9243 and OBC rank was 3800, still, he didn't get any college. So, I think for a general candidate, the score must be above than 250 if Board marks are not included.
All the best.

First of all, you should be your interest oriented, but if you are not sure then see that which branch of which college is has better placement scenario, then select and you will find that placement scenario of CS of MANIT is better than chemical of Trichy or Warangal.

If you mind with placements only then it's pretty good and obviously one of the best in Rajasthan. MNIT's curriculum is decent enough to make you capable to industries. But being an MNITian I feel that there is a lack of coding environment in our campus. For CSE students, having rank on Code Chef, etc. matters and you'll not find much MNITian there. So choose wisely, either you want to pursue CSE course and get a job or you wish to be a coder.

As this is an era of automation, all engineering industries demand for designers and they pay them like anything.
It doesn't mean there is no job at core, there's so many but it takes time to have good salary there.
If anyone pursues MS from any foreign university after B.Tech, they are also paid a much handsome salary.
One high salary option is teaching in Made Easy but you have to qualify IES for that.
Keep these things in mind and keep going.
