Monash University is very well known for Pharmacy and Pharmacology (ranked #1 in the whole world). 

Specifically for Indian students, the most popular and highly respected subjects are Business and Commerce, Engineering & Technology and Medicine/Health Sciences. 

As per the QS World rankings 2026, the Engineering & Technology courses are ranked #51. For Global MBA under the same, it is ranked #84 in the world.

Indian students are required to apply for an Australian student visa immediately after receiving the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from Monash University

It is important to submit the application at least 8 to 12 weeks before the Monash programme starts to accommodate processing times for the visa. Given below is the 3 step timeline to follow as Indian students - 

    • Accept your offer and pay the required tution fee 
    • Apply via ImmiAccount 
    • Visa processing for Indian students takes 4 to 8 weeks so the last step is to wait for processing
