National Institute of Fashion Technology, Hyderabad

The Institute offers four years of full-time BFTech in Apparel Production. Lateral entry to this course is also available. The admission process for this course includes the General Ability Test (GAT), it is a part of the NIFT Entrance Exam. Moreover, to be eligible for this course, the candidate must be a Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent from a recognized board.

The minimum eligibility for getting into NIFT is class 12 with a minimum percentage and selection will be based on the entrance exam. The applicants will be shortlisted for further proceeding of admission on the basis of marks secured in the NIFT Exam i.e., CAT and GAT.

Admission to the two-year course is based on the candidate's NIFT Entrance Exam scores. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university are eligible to take admission. After the entrance exam, shortlisted candidates will also perform in the group discussion and personal interview rounds to get the final admission offer.
