NEET MDS Round 3 Seat Allotment Result was the concluding round for admission to the MDS courses. As per the SRM University MDS cutoff 2024, the NEET MDS closing ranks varied between 4029 and 5729 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. So, yes, a student with a NEET MDS rank of 5000 can get admission to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. However, the students have to wait until the last round, as the cutoff ranks might be more competitive in the initial rounds. There is a possibility. The cut off is reduced if seats remain vacant for allotment. Last year also cut off was reduced for each category after students demanded so as many of seats were vacant. The cut off was reduced for each category. For general category, cut off was reduced from 263 to 174. Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The cut off was released along with NEET MS 2023 result on March 10.
