Yes, you can apply, even NIOS board certificate is eligible for further education in any of the universities or you can also apply for government jobs. You need to check the admission cutoff for particular programme which you want to pursue.

In spite of distance education, NIOS also provides regular courses at the stage of secondary and senior secondary levels.

In case you are unable to get admission for formal studies in regular colleges, education by distance learning is a very good option. You must seek admission in NIOS or IGNOU.
