I think for doing ECE NIT-Goa is the institute to pursue. According to the previous year placement record 90 percent of students are placed with average package of around INR. 5-6 LPA.

ECE and CSE branch of NIT Goa are good enough. Obviously, there is a scope for ECE and CSE. According to the previous placement record, CSE has 100 percent and ECE has 90 percent placement. So, your choice is right to change the branch.

In my opinion, DTU is better for mechanical engineering because DTU provides good/helpful mechanical faculty members, course curriculum, placements and infrastructure.

If you want to get a good job in IT industries, you should learn some programming languages and scripting languages like c, c+, c#, dot NET html, html 5, python, php 5.6. If you want to do Masters then you can do full time or part time degree like M.Sc. /M.Tech. In computer Science, MCA. Having command on software development is helpful to you.
