NIT Puducherry courses admission is based on marks secured in the relevant entrance exam. Admissions to NIT Puducherry BTech is based on marks secured by the candidate in JEE Mains and for M.Tech admission, candidates have to appear for GATE.
Also known as NIT Puducherry, NIT Karaikal and NITPY. One needs to take the JEE (Main) exam and either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination.
