Yes it is a good choice to select a B.Tech course in the college like National Institute of Technology Srinagar. Actually, if we did our under graduation course in a college like this it will be a the biggest advantage for us. Because it is a National Institute which is under the Central Government of India. And it has many advantages if the student got a seat in this type College for our under graduation and also post graduation. The last year admitted rank in NIT Srinagar was 128146 under J&K home state quota. So chances of getting NIT Srinagar are very less.

It may be difficult for you to get admission to NIT Srinagar for the civil engineering branch with a percentile score of 69 and your SC category. However, you may have a chance of getting admission to other NITs depending on the cutoff marks for your category and the availability of seats. I would suggest checking the cutoff scores for previous years and keeping an eye on the counseling process and seat availability to make an informed decision.

It depends upon which branch you want to get in.
If you want to get into CSE or IT here, then you need to score minimum 170 or more marks in JEE Mains.
And for other core branch(Mechanical, Electrical, civil etc) you need 150 or more marks.
Actually it varies every year.
In 2021 some students of general category got admitted into NIT Srinagar scoring 110 or more (In special round) in Chemical and metallurgy Branch.
But some students of CSE are also studying here who got 200 or more marks in JEE Mains.
So i think if you want to get into this college then minimum 150 or more marks is safe side in JEE Main for a general category student.
