You must present a valid, original Passport. For Indian test-takers, the passport is the primary and most accepted document. No driving license or Aadhaar card will be accepted for OET registration.

Maybe. OET@Home is an option. But India has many test centers. They prefer you go there. Centers are in Delhi or Mumbai. Check eligibility when booking. The system will tell you.

No, not everyone accepts OET at Home. You absolutely must check your specific professional board. For instance, see what the NMC in the UK or state boards in the US say before you pay. Acceptance rules change fast; check the official OET website first.

You must use a valid Passport. It is the best ID. The ID you use for booking must be the same one you bring to the OET exam test center.

OET Exam and IELTS Exam are both popular English proficiency tests. OET is only for healthcare workers, while IELTS is for general or academic use. Many people find OET easier because the topics are related to their medical field only. However, IELTS covers a wider range of topics. It depends on your background.

If you have completed your medical studies and have a good command of English, two months is generally sufficient for OET preparation. If your vocabulary is weak start preparation early.

Book your OET test 2026 dates early.

Paper-based exams require you to register at least 24 days in advance, while computer-based tests allow you to book up to 7 days before the actual test date.

Test centers often fill up very quickly.
