Dear Sruthi,
Optometry is in huge demand in India and students have good scope in hospitals and top MNCs like Titan Eye+ too. You can also become an entrepreneur by starting an optometry clinic. Vidyasagar College-Kolkata, Bausch and Lomb-Hyderabad-Pune, Elite School of Optometry-Chennai and NSHM College Kolkata are best colleges. If you're interested to pursue in the university itself then Kerala University of Health sciences, Indira Gandhi Uttar Pradesh, Chitkara University and Sri Ramachandra University Chennai are the best.
