There will be 180 general multiple choice questions (Non-crop specific) in part A and 40 crop specific (Field crop and Horticultural crops in equal proportion) questions in part B following the common syllabi of Agriculture and Horticulture faculties. Candidates have to attempt all the questions in part A and any 20 questions from part B.

To appear in the online entrance examination (CBT mode), the candidate must have the admit card and original ID proof. Submission of application Form-B (online) is mandatory for the admission process. No hard copy of application Form-A, Form-B or any other document will be accepted. For admission, the candidate must appear entrance examination and submit Form B. Even if a candidate appears in the entrance examination, but does not submit Form B, the rank will not be generated and the candidate will not be eligible for admission.

No, the seats that are reserved for SC & ST candidates, who appear for the OUAT Exam and clear the exam, are not allowed to interchange their reserved seats separately.

The applicant has to submit online application Form-A and Form-B through the official website (Academic section>admission section > Candidate login). Candidate has to log in providing e-mail ID, mobile number and OTP to submit Form-A and Form-B. The candidate has to log in to edit Form-A & Form-B and download acknowledgement to Form-A and Form-B submission. Entrance mark, weightage.

Candidates without having Mathematics or Biology will have to make up for their deficiency by taking pre-requisite courses in the subject (Mathematics / Biology) to be offered during the first two semesters. For admission into B.V.Sc & A.H and B.F.Sc. subject combination P.C.B. in + 2 science/equivalent is mandatory. Similarly, for B.Tech (Agril. Engg.), subject combination P.C.M in + 2 science / equivalent are mandatory.

Candidates applying under the AFP quota shall produce the original Bonafide Certificate issued by Rajya Sainik Board, Govt. of Odisha, Bhubaneswar-2 at the time of counselling and admission, failing which his/her admission to AFP category seat will be denied.

The OUAT cut off mark 2024 weightage is that students must have 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry and Biology in SSC (12th) Science and 120 marks out of 200 in the OUAT entrance examination.

The OUAT exam for UG and PG programs is 2 hours long. The duration of OUAT exam is 2 hours hence you have to prepare well to compete all the questions within the given time frame.
