Periyar Maniammai University BCom admission dates typically fall in the month of July. The admissions at PMU for 2024 are currently open. Interested candidates can visit the official website of the university to submit their online applications. The last date for submitting online applications has not been released by the university yet. However, the admissions are expected to continue till August.

At PMU, BCom placements are handled by the university' placement cell. The placement cell helps students find suitable job opportunities based on their skills and qualifications. For BCom courses, the average salary pacakge ranges between INR 1.2 Lacs and INR 1.8 lakh. As per the PMU reviews available on Shiksha.com, the university provides a lot of placement opportunities in companies like IBM, Infosys, ICICI etc. However, the student rating of PMU BCom placements is not very high.

Yes, PMU offers placement assistance to BCom students. The university has a dedicated placement cell to provide placement opportunities to all its students. The PMU placement cell is called the Centre for Institute Industry Interaction (CII). Besides assisting in placements, CII trains the students in soft skills and aims at increasing their employability. In 2023, 678 students registered for the placement drive, out of which 581 were successfully placed. Further, 68 companies participated in the drive and distributed over 798 job offers across all the courses.

PMIST BTech in Biotechnology is a UG-level course that lasts four years. The course comprises eight semesters. As the course structure is based on the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), students have certain credits in each semester.
