You have two ways. First is just after B.Sc. You have two exams: IIT JAM and JEST Physics. You can give both exams. Happens in February every year. Than people who score top ranks in these exams are called for interview in iisc Bangalore. If you clear interview. You will get admission in integrated Ph.D. in iisc. , IISER, Hri, Niser etc. In this you do your M.Sc. And Ph.D. and than leave iisc after 6-7 years. In this you will get 16000rs per month in M.Sc. And 31000rs per month in Ph.D. Second is you do M.Sc. From somewhere else. Than you can give three exams GATE CSIR NET and JEST. Qualify any one of these with top rank. Under 100. Th

You need to apply separately to IISC. So IISC application opens in Feb-march. And JEST also happens in the same time. You fill the application of IISC and put that your JEST result is pending. Then in April when your JEST result comes. You need to edit your application and put your JEST rank. If your JEST rank is good. They will call you for an interview. After JEST not just in IISC. Everywhere like IISERS etc. You need to apply at each Institute separately.

Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D. in Pharmacology
Duration of the course shall be the time period from registration to submission of thesis. The minimum period of registration in respect of all the candidates who are registered for Ph.D. shall be three years. The maximum period of registration shall not exceed five years. Hi NADAGOUDA, there is a bad news for you that IIIT Kurnool currently does not offer Ph.D. in geoinformatics. They currently offer Ph.D. in 5 departments namely Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics and communication Engineering, Mathematics and English . You can go for one of those if you fit in with eligibility criteria. All the best.
