I don't have much idea about the fee structure at Desh Bhagat University,Punjab but for doing Ph.D in pharmaceutical sciences and forensic science then Chandigarh University can be better choice as CU provides better opportunities and platform for getting the best learning experience. Dear Applicant. PhD doesnot have subjects, It have research area that you can decide as per your interest in the required filed of management in consultancy with your guide once allotted to you. If you want to go for admission in PhD in management as you have done MBA in master. LPU could be a good option as it offers PhD in management in both Part time and Full time. The eligibility criteria for the same is "Pass with 55% agrregate marks in MBA/ M.Sc. (Management)/M.Com/ MIB/ MFC or equivalent + LPUNEST +Interview

The ADMISSION PROCESSES
1. Admission in Ph.D. programme will be made through LPUNEST (Entrance Test) followed by interview. Date for entrance test will be announced on university website.
2 Students qualifying in written test will be called for interview (Detailed Schedule of an Interview after result of written test will be communicated). Applicants who qualify UGC (NET/JRF/SPM)/ CSIR (NET/JRF/SPM) / ICAR (NET/JRF/SRF) examination / SLET (Punjab state only)/ Valid GATE or GPAT score card, Teacher Fellowship holder or passed M.Phil. Programme (in Regular mode only) are exempted from Ph.D. entrance test. Note:-
1) Exemption will be considered only if the result score is still valid.
2) For Getting the LPU Scholarship it is mandatory to appear and score good marks in the LPUNEST. Test Pattern for Ph.D. entrance examination:
PAPER 1- This paper will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching aptitude, research aptitude, reading comprehension, communication, reasoning (including mathematical), logical reasoning, data interpretation, information and communication technology (ICT), people and environment, higher education system: governance polity and administration. Paper 2- This paper will be based on the subject selected by the candidate. The final selection for admission in Ph.D. will be based on the performance in Entrance Test and Interview with weightage of 70% & 30% respectively for non-Agriculture Ph.D. programmes and 80% & 20 % respectively for Agriculture Ph.D. programmes including Ph.D. in Food Technology subject to scoring minimum marks in the Interview. However, if any candidate (from non-agricultural streams only) has taken exemption from LPUNEST (Ph.D. ) entrance test, then 100% weightage will be given to Interview only. Hello Minakshi Nagle, it's very nice to hear from you that you have completed your graduation in computer sciences and that you are interested in studying for the for M.Phil or Ph.D. For achieving your aim I would suggest that you should first complete your post graduation study. Only after completion of post graduation in your subject you can think of doing Ph.D. of M.Phil. Nowadays almost all universities are conducting and entrance exam for admission in programs like Ph.D. or M.Phil. You will need to visit the website of your present University to know the details of this entrance exam and different eligibility conditions before you can pursue your goal. The fee structure for all the PHD courses is same and there are different fees a student needs to pay which are as follows: enrollment fee which is Rs. 2500; University establishment charges per annum is Rs. 1000; Migration fee Rs. 2500; PhD Course work fee is Rs. 10,000; annual fee for research program for subjects not involving use of laboratory or equipment is rupees 5000, annual fee for research program for subjects involving use of laboratory or equipments is rupees 15000, annual fee for Pharmaceutical Sciences is rupees 80,000; late people month up to 6 months is rupees 100 and beyond 6 month is rupees 200 and evaluation fees is Rs. 12000.
