Hi Sonali. Well it totally depends upon your interest and love for the subject to go ahead with. Taking into consideration the current scenario biotech is the upconing field with lots of scope and good job opportunities. If you take botany you can go for taxonomy, fungal associations as your subjext in Ph.D. whereas after biotech you can go for microbiology, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology etc. Ph.D. abroad is also a good choice but you need to work very hard as their it's all about practical. Male sure you have a strong base abd good clarity in thoughts. Then you can go anywhere to pursue your education. Best of luck.

Yes, you can do your Ph.D. in SOME SPECIFIC COURSE such as if you like to became a Teacher in computer Science feild you can do your Ph.D. with computer Science.

Masters degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate.
5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / specially able candidates. For Ph.D. level first you have to clear the entrance test that is UGC NET. After that if your NET score is equal to any others' scores then these percentage will taken into consideration.
