You can opt for Ph.D. in general management. The scope of this Course is very good and you may get good opportunities to be a part of global institutions and committees as well as professional coaching opportunities at top notch B-schools in India.

You can do PhD in Management after PGDM if you have done PGDM if degree is recognised equivalent to MBA by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Both B.Sc-M.Sc-PhD and B.Tech-M.Tech-PhD are equally good option to achieve your goal of PhD. There are lots of opportunities in the field of Biotechnology, therefore, I will like to recommend you to opt for Bio-Technology.
