Most universities these days accept soft copies, especially those that are abroad. The official website of the university will have these details available on it.

Apart from MBA, you would also need to complete your Masters degree. If you have done so, then you can look up for the requirements of any university which offers the Ph.D. course of your choice and fulfill all its requirements to get a seat.

Business administration and management studies are different from each other. If you look at their Bachelors degree, one is called BBA and the other is called BBM. Subjects studied in each of these are different and the scope of job is also different, not greatly though.

Once you have completed your Masters and have got reasonable amount of work experience, you can look forward to doing a PhD. All you would need is to pick a stream and a university that offers that particular stream. Master's degree in the subject concerned or related field with 55% marks or qualified NET examination of the University Grants Commission.
Candidate may apply for registration for PhD at any time during the academic year.
