For Ph.D, you need to complete your Master's or equivalent degree course and few universities do require NET score too. Keep a check on institutes like XLRI, IITs and other management institutes.

PhD gives values and MBA gives earnings, so you have to decide yourself. Both have different careers.

PhD having so many lectures, practicals, seminars, conferences, project, training, vivas, etc. it can't be part time PhD.

If you are in final year of MA in English in IGNOU then you are eligible for admission in PhD in English.
Those candidates who have completed Master's degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for PhD course.
There is no age criteria for PhD course but you must have a valid UGC NET score card.
