I have done my M.Sc(physics). which is the best course after this? I am confused either I do PhD or MS. My percentage in M.Sc is 82.5%.

Hi,
After M.Sc Physics, it is advisable to opt for PhD. To pursue PhD, you need to pass master's / M.Phil with minimum 55%. You need to sit for an entrance exam.
Below is the list of colleges :
-Anna University
-Acharya Nagarjuna University
-Banaras Hindu University
-Delhi Technological University (DTU

Dear Gurinder,PTU is Approved by UGC and DEC , so Degrees are valid for Govt Jobs and Further Studies.There Is no problem for Jobs and NET/Phd

Yes, PhD programs are possible on Distance Mode. As far as the mandatory requirements are concerned, every university has their own set of rules & regulations.

Ph.D. is a research degree who are willing to do research in their field area , they can go for this degree ,Ph.D. - a doctorate usually based on at least 3 years graduate study and a dissertation; the highest degree awarded graduate study
