NUSRL Ranchi is generally considered the better choice for a BA LLB (Hons) degree because it is a leading National Law University (NLU) built specifically for legal studies. It offers students much better law placements, national internships, and an moot court culture at a more competitive fee structure. Amity Ranchi stands as a good backup private choice if candidates want modern infrastructure but missed the CLAT cutoff for the top NLUs.

Sarala Birla University has been rated slightly higher than Amity University, Ranchi by students. Higher ratings of Sarala Birla Ranchi might be due to more affordable fees, better faculty and placements or other factors.

If candidates are influenced by some other factors such as infrastructure, rankings, etc. then they should do their own comparisons.

Please be informed that the degree you get from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi is officially awarded by Ranchi University, but it carries the college's own prestigious name. St. Xavier's is otherwise more popular and reputed due to its autonomous status, stronger academic reputation, and more active placement support. The quality of education and the training you get at St. Xavier's are usually more intense and modern compared to the standard university departments.
