Actually, the degree you get from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi is officially awarded by Ranchi University, but it carries the college's own prestigious name. Because St. Xavier's is known for its high standards and strict rules, employers and other universities often respect a "Xaverian" student more. The quality of education and the training you get at St. Xavier's are usually more intense and modern compared to the standard university departments.
