KSMU is listed in World Directory of Medical Schools WDOMS, which is maintained by World Health Organization WHO indicating that its degrees are internationally recognized.

English is the language of instruction for MBBS in Northern State Medical University Russia for the whole course. Language of instruction is one of the major concern for international students including Indian students going to NSMU to pursue MBBS.
