As a student of Delhi University I have seen my friends taking a variety of scholarships including government and college too. So yes there is usually some scholarships for lower Caste by the government. Also colleges provides different types of scholarships to SC and lower castes too.

Yes, a general meritorious student can avail a scholarship offered by the G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur. According to the information you provided, you are eligible for a minimum of 5% of the scholarship, which will be applied to your annual fees in accordance with college regulations. The scholarship rule at G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering is that one has to score above 80% at the qualifying exam level in PCM to be eligible to avail of a scholarship. LPU believes in first come, first serve, with each passing phase the scholarship reduces, due to limited available seats and growing competition. The amount of Scholarship also depends on the Phase in which the candidate takes admission in the University. (Phase I) starts as early as January 2021 and continues till the end of April 2021. The subsequent phases (Phase-II, III, IV, V) are conducted only if the seats in the concerned Programme remain vacant. The amount of Scholarship reduces with each passing phase and no scholarship is offered in Phase - V (if conducted). .
