To avail of the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering scholarships, students must meet the eligibility stated by the concerned authority. Candidates whose parents’ annual income is less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lacs and students irrespective of Caste/ Community/ Religion, (2A, 3A, 3B and others) who have studied for a period of 7 academic years (commencing from Class 1. up to the qualifying examination either continuously or in broken period) and whose parents’ annual income is less than or equal to INR 44,500 are eligible to claim the Post Metric Scholarship/Food & accommodation/reimbursement of Tuition, Laboratory, Library, Sports and Examination fees from the Backward Classes Welfare Department as per the norms of Government of Karnataka. 

Yes, DAV University there is scholarships for the BCom course students. The scholarships are offered only to the meritorious & other deserving students (single girl child, sportspersons, ward of University employees, etc.). DAV University category-wise scholarship percentage are below:
1. Students having 95% to 100% marks at eligibility level gets 50% of the Annual Tuition Fee in first year only
2. Students having 90% to 94.99% marks at eligibility level gets 30% of the Annual Tuition Fee in first year only
3. Students having 85% to 89.99% marks at eligibility level gets 15% of the Annual Tuition Fee in first year only
4. Students having 80% to 84.99% marks at eligibility level gets 10% of the Annual Tuition Fee in first year only
5. DAVIANS (Entering from the DAV University to DAV University) gets 50% of the Semester Tuition Fee in first year only

It is worth to mention here that GNIOT Institute of Professional Studies does not provide 100% scholarships for BCA course. However, the institute provides various scholarships to deserving students, including:

- Merit-based scholarships: up to 50 percent of the tuition fees
- Need-based scholarships: for tuition fees to a maximum amount of twenty five percent.
- Category-based scholarships: Besides, to encourage the SC/ST/OBC/EWS students,
- Alumni scholarships: to those students who have their parents or relatives graduated from GNIOT

These scholarships are given out to students and the institute’s scholarship committee then approves the same depending on the status of the scholarship programme and the qualifications of the students. Also, there are external scholarships and governing body financial aids which the students can also look into.

BS-MS students at IISER can avail the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana scholarship a National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Department of Science and Technology has decided to subsume KVPY with Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE). The students in the BS-MS programme at IISER Mohali receive the INSPIRE or KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) fellowship as long as they perform well. While KVPY scholars are admitted "automatically'" to the BS-MS programme, the JEE merit-listed students are admitted on the basis of their ranks.

SRM IST scholarships are offered to meritorious students and, students who belong to particular category. Given below is the list of SRM School of Public Health MBA scholarships:

• Founder’s Scholarship: To encourage and attract exemplary sports personalities to seek admission in any PG programme of SRM IST.
• Chancellor Constituency Scholarship: To encourage and attract outstanding candidates to seek admission in the first year at SRM IST.
• Socio-Economic Scholarship: To encourage and attract academically good and deserving candidates who do not have the financial background to pay the academic and non-academic fees.
• Differently Abled Scholarship: To support students with Locomotor/ orthopaedic disability, visually impaired, Speech & Hearing impaired, mental disability, multiple disabilities etc., and facilitate their academic pursuit.
• SRM Arts and Culture Scholarship: To encourage and support students demonstrating exemplary talent in various Art forms, creativity and cultural activities that have a positive influence on our social and economic life or our state or country.
• Performance-Based Scholarship: To recognise the consistency in the academic performance of students and motivate them to perform better in subsequent years of study.
• Defence Scholarship: To support students who need some sort of financial concessions by way of recognition of their needs/ achievements.
