Good morning everyone,

My name is Nishu singh and I am a first-year student of B.Tech Computer Science Engineering at Quantum University, Roorkee. Today, I would like to share my experience as a first-year CSE student.

The first year of B.Tech CSE at Quantum University is mainly focused on building a strong foundation. We study core subjects like Programming in C, Basic Electrical and Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Graphics, and Communication Skills. These subjects help us understand both technical and logical concepts from the beginning.

The teaching faculty is supportive and friendly. Teachers explain concepts in a simple way and encourage us to ask questions. Regular practical labs help us apply theory into real coding and problem-solving. For beginners, this environment is very helpful.

Quantum University also focuses on overall development. Along with academics, we participate in coding clubs, technical workshops, seminars, cultural events, and sports activities. These activities help us gain confidence, teamwork skills, and leadership qualities.

The infrastructure is good, with well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, library, and hostel facilities. The campus environment is positive and disciplined, which motivates us to focus on our studies.

In the first year, the university also guides us about future specializations like AI, ML, Data Science, and Cyber Security, so that we can plan our career early.

In conclusion, being a first-year B.Tech CSE student at Quantum University is a great learning experience. The university provides a balanced mix of education, skills, and personal growth, which helps us move confidently toward our future.
