Here is the eligibility for IIT JAM chem exam
Bachelors degree (at least 10+2+3) with Chemistry as a major/honours subject and Mathematics and Physics as other subjects, or
Candidates having a Bachelors degree (at least 10+2+3) without (Major/Honours) must have the concerned degree with (a) Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters, (b) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Mathematics (c) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Physics
or
Chemistry as a subject for three years of 6 semesters. Many IIT have different criteria. Go through admission brochure of IIT JAM. They don't ask for Maths as 12th subject. But still have query then contact the IIT

Pantnagar university is offering many programs in many streams. It's a agriculture University
For entrance in Science, it will need the 11th 12th Physics Chemistry and Biology and agriculture for those who are having agriculture. Exam level is near to the NEET and from basics to deep many things are asked. I can answer better if you can tell me for which course you want to enroll in Pantnagar university.

If a candidate satisfy the given below criteria then he/she is eligible for IIT JAM chem exam
Bachelors degree (at least 10+2+3) with Chemistry as a major/honours subject and Mathematics and Physics as other subjects, or
Candidates having a Bachelors degree (at least 10+2+3) without (Major/Honours) must have the concerned degree with (a) Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters, (b) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Mathematics (c) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Physics
While some demands only Chemistry as a subject for three-years or 6 semesters.

To get admission through the general -EWS quota in IIT, then also you should have a rank under 800. With the 1826 rank, one cannot get a seat at IIT through the general -EWS quota.

There's not too much fees it's average fees 11000 not like other colleges. There's a scholarship for sc, bc students in which they have to only pay 4-5k, and there's nothing scholarship scheme for any general category students that's a negative point. On every year there's a rozgar mela in college where companies from different cities hire students for jobs.
