Hi, yes, you can because many colleges in Kolkata give admission on a merit basis, if u are fitting in that merit then u can, otherwise there is another option for taking admission which is u can give the entrance examination.

You can get admission to private colleges, but government colleges require a minimum of 50 percent marks in class 12th for the entrance examination.
