This article deals particularly with the difference in the career scopes of Commerce and the Non medical stream. We will methodically approach each stream and look at its nuances and the details which will help a student make an informed decision. The period of decision making after the 10th boards is a confusing one, and should not be procrastinated. The options on offer are varied and differ from one board to the other. The major and most preferred options are Mathematics and Computer Science as they build up a base for a wide career graph which one could experiment with if they wished to. Subjects on offer in Non-Medical stream

The most preferred options have been Computer Science, Economics, Physical education, Home Science and Fine arts. Now that you have a clear understanding of the core subjects on offer, we will now discuss the higher educational and subsequent career options for each stream. These will be divided into careers which are designed strictly for a student of a particular stream and then some which have an interdisciplinary fluidity to them. These fluid careers do not require the expertise of a particular stream and can be pursued with the knowledge of anyone major (and common) subject. Good luck!

Hi bikram. The appearing candidate should have cleared Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other class 12 equivalent examination from any board/recognised institute, university. Candidates belonging to general category should have secured a minimum of 60% in class 12.
1- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India
2- Academic Qualification:
Every candidate, in order to apply for the DU JAT 2020 exam must have qualified/cleared Class 12 examination of any board/university exam in India or in any foreign country exam recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
Candidates filling the application form of DU JAT are required to have cleared or passed individually in each subject (including practicals if any). This is for the purpose of merit and eligibility calculation who had appeared in the senior secondary examinations and were awaiting their results were eligible to apply as well
Candidates who are applying through your/SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories are eligible to take admission on the basis of both merit as well as an entrance test to courses in all colleges/departments. The same may differ for minority colleges wherein some of the categories from your/SC/ST/OBC/EWS may not be applicable
Candidates belonging to Sikh and Christian minority can take admission under the minority quota in the minority colleges of Delhi University
