With academic courses, the biggest difference between a postgraduate Diploma and a Master's degree is that a postgraduate Diploma doesn't involve having to do a dissertation. You will most likely be assessed by exams, assignments, coursework or a combination of these. Beyond this, however, you can expect the level of work required to be similar to other postgraduate courses, especially in terms of content. Whereas in terms of salary and placement PG in Diploma lags behind Masters. You will get good placement and also handsome salary package through Masters as compared to PG IN Diploma. Best of Luck.
