MIT School of Engineering is not the best but comes under the category of elite institutions in India. The college has a nice infrastructure, curriculum, academics and most important the vibrant co-curricular culture.
MIT-Pune is a private college affiliated to the University of Pune and has nice placement record when talking about civil engineering. The average placement is around 4 to 5 LPA and highest reaching up to 13 LPA.
The mass recruiters are TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Wipro.
Also, some of the good global and national corporates visiting are Volkswagon, Hero, ITC, Axis Bank, Airtel, Amazon, Cisco, IGATE, etc.
The institution is overall very nice and one can get it by scoring 150 marks in MHT-CET for CSE.
The only con in the institution is the huge amount of fee. It is obvious due to its private nature, still, it will worth if you can get an education loan and some financial help from external sources.

Also, the college does not have a benchmark achievement in developing its particular department and lacks in the effortless working to be on the top of the list. One has to maintain a CGPA of above 9 to prove him or her worthy enough for the placement session. The average placement from computer science engineering branch is around 6 lakhs per annum highest being 12 lakhs for an extraordinary mind in Samsung. More precisely, the infrastructure is modern though not vibrant. So, make a wise decision and consider the academics as a major parameter but not the placements.
