If you want to pursue aeronautical engineering, try going into premier institutes like IIST or IITs so that you would have decent opportunities for good jobs in the field.
Jobs for aeronautical engineers generally are:
Maintenance of an aircraft: Aerospace engineers test new aerodynamic and aviation systems, and maintain them.
Aircraft designer: Aerospace Engineers specializing in this field deal with designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft. They may conduct basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture.
Aviation engineer: Aerospace engineers in this field deal with the airport design, aircraft navigation technologies, and aerodrome planning.
Defence: Aeronautical engineers in this field deal with creation, maintenance and deployment of defence aircraft such as fighter jets, choppers, bombers, etc. Also, the job requires being able to handle such aircraft at necessary times.
You can work in the government sector with ISRO, DRDO, HAL, etc. We can also look at the private companies such as L&T, Godrej & Boyce aerospace, Boeing, Airbus, Mahindra, etc.

You can easily crack MUOET in three months even if you are not preparing for any engineering entrance exam. The level of MUOET is not that high but competition is everywhere. You need to make proper time table. MUOET generally ask conceptual Questions. The mathematics part is generally easy and scoring as well. If you have studied well for board exams, then it will be quite easy for you.
Points you should know while preparing for MUOET:
1. You should spend 5 hours in mathematics, 4 hours in physics and 3 hours in chemistry.
2. Prefer NCERT books for chemistry and physics (chemistry is must).
3. Stick with the basics as MUOET tests your command over the chapters. For physics, you may prefer HC Verma (both volumes). RD Sharma objective is enough for maths.
4. Apart from all these, you should solve previous year's papers. This will give you an idea about the quality of Questions asked as well as paper pattern. Solve a lot of mock papers too.

It is not necessary to do B.Tech though it will raise your chances of getting into it. Through B.Tech, one need to have their stream of aeronautical and aerospace engineering. After completing the engineering, one has to go through a one year exam preparations and training process which after you will get into ISRO.
Another and the most convenient way for ISRO lovers is to join IIST, which is Indian Institute Of Space Research. You can get through this college, your JEE Mains and Advanced marks but it is very difficult to get into as cut-off is very high and accompanying with the toughest national minds.
Though if you are able to make your place, then you are provided with free education as well as free food and accommodation facilities.
After graduating from them, they make you to work with ISRO by signing a bond for at least three years.
This way, you can directly get into ISRO.
In all, a degree from aeronautical and aerospace is needed. Or else, crack the entrance exam for ISRO. Thank you.

The most important part of the competitive preparation is that the one is unable to continue the same hard work it has initiated with.
That intensity should be maintains throughout the session for making the absolute place in the toppers.
Now, the guidelines one should follow to crack WBJEE are:
Go through the entire theory portion and no part of the theory should be skipped from your mind especially from chemistry's inorganic part.
Secondly, don't let any distraction element interfere in your life because the one year may be worth the whole life.
Third, constantly focus on the previous year papers and you should be aware about the syllabus of the exam. For that, go through the website or manual of the respective exam.
For excellence in maths and physics, more the practice more the confidence is generated. Don't try to cover the whole theory by reading but practice as many questions as possible for that.
And last, have a study of atleast 6 hours and more daily.

I think that scheme of backlog for a year back or paperback depends on the particular student and his condition. Suppose for a fourth-year guy opting for higher studies. What happens if he has a year back? His admission chances for the next year are completely wasted. But if he has paper back then he can easily clear that exam and be eligible for the same session admission. Why waste the precious time of a student?
Also, this type of governance is easy for the college authorities as they can easily document his progress in papers and a whole semester or year.
If a guy is already in a disputable condition, and he fails to acquire certain scoring or if he is scoring badly in all the subjects then the option of year back makes sense, but just that guy fails by some marks, and he is made to study the semester again or year again, I think that it is not justified.
I hope that institutes become serious about the students future and make the necessary changes that are in favour of both student and university.

Management quota is a percentage seat that is reserved for the management authorities to recommend the students for. Basically, these seats are a bet and the highest bidder gets the seat. This basically happens in private engineering colleges because government ones are filing their seats by well-governed exams like JEE and other state examinations.
And you should know these seats are for the students that failed to meet the required criteria or were unable to qualify the entrance exam. So, talking of the prestigious colleges through is a little bit hard because if a college is prestigious it won't have such quota and all students in the engineering college would be well screened.
Unfortunately, the selection procedure in top government colleges is fair and square and all the seats are filled with qualifying exams only.
Still, if you want you can opt for private colleges like KIIT University Galgotias University PES University, K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering, RV College of Engineering, Thapar University, Sharda University, VIT University, etc.

The average placement package for B. TECH in printing and packaging technology is around 3-4 lacs while the highest placement package for the same branch is around 10 lacs.
Some of the companies that make rounds during the placement season of 2017 for printing and packaging technology branch are:
IBM, oracle, Cadbury, TCS, Tech Mahindra, L&T Ltd., Saint-Gobain, JSW Steel Ltd, ZTE Bangalore, Dabur India Ltd.
If you don't manage to get in through campus placements and go for off campus placement, then the pay package is even lower and more difficult to get through.
The training and placement cell is really dormant and is only there in the name sake and does nothing more than issuing certificates no objection certificate (NOC) for internships and jobs.
With this, I hope you would make the right choice by joining the college and one should consider this only if there is no other better college to get admission at.
Only then one should resort to getting admission at this college or should consider dropping a year.

Both the colleges have a collaboration with Mumbai University and have the same course curriculum for all 4 years of the four course years.
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology is much better than DJ Sanghvi.
This is because of the fact that the college had a much better reputation in terms of placement and faculty.
But, if you don't get into any of the branches like computer science or information technology, then it is not worth it, as the placements in mechanical and other such core branches are below average.
I must tell you though that both the colleges are below average and the faculty members are never able to complete the course to a 100 percent.
