Acharya Institute of Technology (AIT) is a better choice than MVJ College of Engineering in case of both educational quality and placements.
But instead of opting for Aeronautical Engineering, I would suggest you go for CSE from AIT Bangalore.
AIT is ranked 63rd in Indian Engineering college Ranking of "Outlook India". On the other hand, MVJCE stands nowhere in top 100.
AIT Bangalore has huge campus of 120 acres whereas MVJCE has a campus of just 15 acres.
AIT maintains a teacher-student ratio of 1:10. The Institute receives a "Modernisation and Removal of Obsolescence" grant from the AICTE for research activities and upgraded state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. Coming on to why to choose CSE over Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation sector is still on a slow growth in India whereas IT sector is on its top gear of growth. There is a huge demand of CSE Engineers than Aero Engineers in India. Moreover Mostly IT companies comes for placements in the college.

VNIT-Nagpur invites various public and private sector organizations for campus recruitment of final year students. During the academic year 2016-17, more than 100 companies visited the campus. It does not matters lot as many college built their campus in remote area because they can't get such a big size of land is not available in city. This does not matters a lot as BITS Pilani is one of the best college of India and this college is located in Pilani which is an small village of Rajasthan but for joining BITS student never think about remote or urban city. In fact, establishing a college in remote size has lot of benefit such as there is less disturbances, less crowd, nice environment which is not available in urban city.

IIT Kharagpur is one of best college in stream of study and facility. The motto literally translates to "Excellence in action is Yoga" essentially implying that doing your work well is (true) yoga. It is sourced to Sri Krishna's discourse to Arjuna in Bhagavad Gita.
There were 224 freshers and 42 teachers in August 1951 when the first session started. The class rooms, laboratories and the Administrative office were housed in the historic building of the Hijli Detention Camp. The Institute started its academic programme with only ten Departments. On March, 1952, Pandit Nehru laid the foundation stone of the New Building on Sept. 15, 1956, the Parliament of India passed an act known as the Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur) Act declaring this Institute as an Institute of national importance. IIT Kanpur is a prestigious institute that comes under the top three IITs (as per recent years record). The most preferred branches from IIT Kanpur are CSE, aerospace and chemical. Though, the best college for chemical one may find in IIT Madras, but IIT Kanpur is also no less than that.
The placement data shows an average placement of 13 lakh per annum, whereas the highest being 22 lakhs and the lowest being 7 lakhs.

Talking about the current situation, the demand and supply of CSE Engineers is more than Mechanical Engineer because IT Sector is developing much in our country.
Mechanical Engineers are also having good demand because of establishment of many industries in India by 'MAKE IN INDIA' Initiative.
Talking about the packages offered to CSE is good and more as compared to Mechanical Engineering and The jobs of CSE is more than that of Mechanical Engineering.

The packages offered to Mechanical Branch is good but not in crores like CSE. That makes the difference. VIT, Vellore has a great placement record as per the placement data status available. You need not to worry about securing the job if you are studying in the institution as you will get ample opportunities in the field of your study.
