It is a better idea if you start your JEE preparations from the class 8th or 9th because there are many subjects and competitive olympiads and exams being conducted class 7th onwards in which you can participate and learn a lot of things. Though you have to study a lot in the time where no one can realise the actual study pattern of competitions which would be hard for you if you can face this you, will definitely raise your chances for Advanced. Also, don't try to take much stress as it will completely disturb your mental balance. Try to be in your comfort zone from the starting. Try and learn managing things as it is not as simple as it seems. REVA is, in reality, superior to ACED, however, just as far as scholastics and situations are concerned.

Domicile certificate is basically a legal document issued by the court or any other government body of the state which proves that you are a legal resident of that state. Many state government engineering entrance examinations require domicile certificate because the state government do not allow outsiders to take admission in the government engineering colleges in the state. Many have some kind of reservation like few percent of seats are reserved for the same state while few percent seats are open for other state students. Jharkhand combined entrance competitive examination (JCECE) do not allow outsiders to take admission in its government engineering colleges so they demand domicile certificate for that and joint admission council Delhi have 80 percent seats reserved for students who have domicile of Delhi while rest 20 percent are open for all.
However, all state engineering colleges do not require domicile certificate. If you want to take admission in open seats then you don't have to submit domicile certificate.

Talking about aerospace engineering in IIT-Kanpur. Everyone knows IIT-Kanpur is one of the best government colleges in India. The MUOET test is held every year. It is an online based exam for admission into Manipal University, Manipal.
Though there are no seperate classes for MUOET as the syllabus for JEE Mains and MUOET is same.
One important point is English. The questions from the English language asked in the paper have a high weightage of marks and there are 30 marks for the aptitude.
