For admission to the PG courses of SMU, Indian students should have a Bachelor's degree, work experience (for some courses) and GMAT / GRE score. Whereas, for admission to the UG courses of SMU, Indian students should have passed Class 12.

Both the universities are popular among students. Heriot-Watt Dubai awarded as the best university by Forbes Middle east, where SMU has its global ranking reputation. Students who want to study Business, Management, Law, IT, can choose SMU, where students who want subjects like Engineering can choose Heriot.

Yes, it is required. Good TOEFL (minimum of 90) or IELTS (minimum of 6.5) scores for applicants whose medium of instruction at the Bachelor's or Master's level was not in English. SMU's TOEFL institution code is 9014. Students must ensure to take the tests within 2 years prior the admission.
