Yes, you can get admission in government colleges for geography honours if you have studied that subject in your +2. Even if you haven't studied the subject but want to pursue this in graduation, some colleges deduct your marks accordingly and then you may get into a government college based on your merit. This was the system till 2022, however with the implementation of CUET you need to clear the entrance and then you can get into your preferred government college.
