SRM University has not yet released the placement data for M.Tech students. However, student review present on Shiksha provide students' opinions on the placement scenario. As per the review, the the highest package bagged by the M.Tech students during the recent placement drive stood at INR 54 LPA. Moreover, some of the organisations that have participated in the previous placement drives were Amazon, TCS, Tata, etc.

According to student review on Shiksha, the average package offered to M.Tech students participating in the recent SRM University placement drive stood at INR 9.5 LPA. Other than this, the average package offered to the students was INR 9.5 LPA. Moreover, as per official sources, Microsoft, IBM, TCS, and Amazon are some of the top organisations that have previously participated in the placement drives.

For admission to SRM University M.Tech courses, all students must submit an application form. While filling out the form, students are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents:

• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• UG marksheets
• UG degree
• Migration certificate
• School leaving certificate/transfer certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Income certificate (applicable for candidates seeking admission via EWS category)

Once the SRM University has closed the application window, the university's selection committee commences the screening process. In the screening process, registered candidates are screened and shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance exams (GATE/SRMJEE PG).

After that, shortlisted students are invited for an interview process. Following which, M.Tech seats are allocated based on the candidate's performance in the accepted entrance exam and the interview process.

Yes, SRM University has an online application portal. Thus, students seeking admission into the M.Tech courses can apply online. The steps to apply are as follows:

1. Go to the university's official website and click on the 'Apply Now' tab displaying on the screen.

2. Fill in the required details to make a new student account.

3. Log in to the newly made account and fill out the application form.

5. Pay the application fees of INR 1,400.

6. Submit the form.

SRM University has commenced the M.Tech admission process for the academic year 2025. Students who wish to enroll into the courses can visit the university's official website and apply. However, the university has not announced any deadline to fill out the application form. Students are advised to register timely to avoid missing out on the application process.

Once the M.Tech selection process is completed at SRMU AP, students with admission offers are required to pay a part of the tuition fees to secure their seat. As per official sources, the total tuition fees for M.Tech courses amount to INR 3 lakh.
