Yes, the SRMJEEE exam pattern was changed in 2025. As per the fresh changes, the exam is now being conducted online and monitored remotely, but there have been a few changes. Candidates will now need to answer 130 questions, up from the previous 125, and the total score has increased to 130 marks. Furthermore, English and Aptitude sections have been combined into a single section, reducing the total number of sections from five to four.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) runs mock tests for SRMJEEE candidates to let them understand the exam structure. The practice assessments offer candidates an opportunity to understand the format but they lack official scoring systems. The tests serve as preparation assessment tools which help candidates locate their knowledge gaps for enhancement. There are no revealed outcome statistics for SRMJEEE mock tests.

With an SRMJEE rank of 16644, you are likely to get admission to a branch like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering at either the SRM Kattankulathur campus (KTR) or one of the other SRM campuses, depending on the availability of seats and your specific branch preference; however, securing a top branch like Computer Science Engineering at KTR might be challenging at this rank.
