You don't have to take SRMJEE for admission to the BOT course at SRM University. The eligibility criteria for the course is:

Minimum 60% 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology/ Botany and Zoology from a recognised board. However, try to score as high as possible to get admission to the university.

The tuition fee for the entire course is INR 3.60 Lakhs. The course is offered to 60 deserving students.

The duration of the course is 4 years with compulsory 6 months of internship.

Yes, 6820 rank is a good rank as it falls between (5000-7000) and admission to B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering at  SRM Ghaziabad. SRMJEEE rank within 20000 is considered a good rank for admission. So, you have an advantage and can easily get admission to SRM Ghaziabad.

So, if you get a rank below 800 you can get a scholarship but no free seat. For this 3k rank you may not get CSE but you can get CSE with specalizations and remaining courses. So, try to get good ranks in upcoming phase that could help you to secure a sholarship in SRM JEE. Also the scholarship is different on different campuses.
