The official notification mentions the topics in the General Awareness syllabus but the candidates need to read between the lines and workout the expansion of all the topics given in the official syllabus. Here the candidates can see here details of topics that are required to cover under the General Awareness topics.
The SSC CGL 2025 was conducted in from 12 to 26 September and on 14 October at the designated exam centres.

General Awareness is a section in the SSC CGL Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam. It became the most important section of the SSC CGL exam because it is introduced in the Tier 2 exam in the current notification and its weightage in the whole exam increased.
The SSC CGL general awareness questions expect the candidates to prepare all the aspects of general awareness, which includes static general knowledge and current affairs.

The Staff Selection Commission notified the SSC CGL 2025 syllabus in the official notification. The Commission mentioned all the details of the SSC CGL syllabus 2025 in the official notification. The candidates should prepare all the topics mentioned in the official notification. The Commission did not mention the weightage of the syllabus topic in the official notification.

The Staff Selection Committee releases the SSC CGL syllabus each year. The SSC-defined syllabus is the most important component of the Combined Graduate Level Exam. The Commission can ask any type of question from the given topic and hence the candidates are suggested to prepare all the aspects of topics. The candidates need to prepare all the topics mentioned in the SSC CGL syllabus because the Staff Selection Commission does not mention the weightage of the topics in the official notification. The SSC CGL 2023 syllabus notification was most likely released in March or April of 2023. Please note that the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) usually releases the exam notification and syllabus a few months before the application window opens.
The SSC CGL exam is usually conducted in the later part of the year, often around November or December. Whereas the notification for the exam, including the syllabus, is released several months before the actual exam date to allow candidates sufficient time to apply and prepare.
