The Staff Selection Commission mention the SSC CGL eligibility criteria in the notification for the exam. The Commission mention all the details a candidates require to fulfill for the exam. The two most important factors under the SSC CGL eligibility are
- Educational Qualification - A Graduate in Any Discipline
- Age Limit - It is defined separately for each SSC CGL post.

The Staff Selection Commission mention the age-relaxation to all the categories of candidates in the official notification. The candidates can see below the age-relaxation mentioned in the official notification in the previous years.
The age relaxations for different categories in SSC CGL 2026 are as follows:

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL 2026 age cutoff dates in the notification. The Commission is expected to release the SSC CGL notification 2026 in March 2026, on its portal.
The Commission will mention the age cutoff date for the SSC CGL 2026 exam ain the official notification once released. The Commission will conduct the SSC CGL 2026 exam in May or June 2026.

Yes you can but there is a problem regarding with this question . You should have your 8th semester result before 1 August or having a certificate that you had completed the B.Tech which you can get from your college but if your certificate is ready before 1 August 2025 you can get final selection in SSC CGL 2025 otherwise not .

Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer - Graduation from a recognised university or institute
Junior Statistical Officer - Graduation in any subject from a recognised university or institute with at least 60 percent marks in Mathematics at Class 12 level or Graduation in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level.
Statistical Investigator Grade-II -Graduation in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects subject from a recognised university or institute. The candidate must have studied Statistics

Yes, a B Pharma student can apply for the SSC CGL exam. The eligibility criteria for the SSC CGL exam require candidates to possess a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institution, and a B Pharma student who has completed their graduation meets this criterion.
