The Staff Selection Commissioin increased the number of SSC MTS Havaldar 2023 vacancies  from 360 to 392 in the final iteration.  In view of the increased vacancies, the Commission selected higher number of candidates for the SSC MTS Havaldar PET/PST 2023. The Commission selected 4,380 candidates for the 392 vacancies. The Commission selected more candidates than the specified ratio of 1: 10.

The Commission is expected to release the SSC MTS 2023 Final result in December 2023.

Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the SSC MTS 2023 answer key (final) after the declaration of final result. The Commission conducted the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam from September 1 to 14 at the designated SSC MTS exam centre. The Commission mention official answers to all the questions asked in the paper.

The Staff Selection Commission reduced the number of SSC MTS vacancies further from 11,788 to 11,784. The Commission released the SSC MTS result on October 18, 2023, for the final number of vacancies. The Commission selected 11,255 candidates for the DV and DME. The Commission reduced the vacancies in the result notice. The Commission does not release a separate vacancy list for the SSC MTS Vacancies.

The candidates should note that the SSC MTS job is a central government job and it is governed by the Central Government service rules notified from time to time. The salary of the SSC MTS posts change with the city of posting and the corresponding Dearness Allowance fixed by the Government of India from Time to time. The Staff Selection Commission changed the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam pattern and introduced partial negative markings in the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam. The Commission also changed the number of questions asked in the exam. The Commission divided the paper into two parts and fixed a separate timeline for each session. SSC MTS cutoff is the marks required to get selected in the exam in a particular category. It is the mark of the last selected candidate in a particular category in a particular state. SSC MTS cutoff is the marks of the last selected candidates in a particular category in a particular state. It is inversely proportional to the number of vacancies in the exam. 

SSC MTS cutoff is based on the normalised marks prepared after the normalisation of the raw scores of the candidates.
