Stanford University Design courses are known for providing access to world class educational courses, research facilities and best faculty from all parts of university.

Yes Stanford University is offering Design courses since 2005. Earlier Design courses were offered under Engineering at this university. In 20 years, Stanford Design courses have done exceeding well which led to attract many international students. Students can study best design courses at this university such as BS & MS in Design separately.

Yes, in 1980, Mukesh Ambani dropped his MBA degree at Stanford Uni to come back to India. Then, he joined his family business to build Reliance. Other famous celebrities who have studied at Stanford Uni are Rishi Sunak, Sundar Pichai, Akshata Murty, Azim Premji, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jennifer Connelly, Reese Witherspoon, etc.

Over 200 courses are offered by Stanford Uni. At the UG level, around 66 academic fields are available and at the PG level, 150+ course options are there. Some of the popular majors at Stanford are Mathematics and Statistics; Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services; Mathematics and Statistics; Social Sciences; Engineering; Biological and Biomedical Sciences, etc.

In the year 1995, Elon Musk was accepted to a PG course at Stanford University. But, he did not enroll and studied the course. He then went onto launch his first company Zip 2. Musk felt that the internet had more potential so he went onto pursue his goal instead of attending Stanford.

Yes, Stanford University require SAT or ACT scores from the international students for admission to the UG courses. The university has not mentioned the minimum SAT scores. But, students are advised to have the SAT score between 1470 - 1570 and ACT score between 34-35. Along with this, UG students have to submit the documents like transcripts, LOR, school report, etc.

Indian students can get into the university by having a UG degree, releted work experience, and a GPA of 3.5 on 4 point scale. Students have to submit LOR, essay, SOP, transcripts, resume, and English language requirements.
