The University of Central Lancashire offers Excellence Scholarships for UG and PG students entering the first year of studies. Indian students are not required to apply separately for this scholarship. They are considered automatically. The value of this scholarship is GBP 3500 for first year of study (Around INR 4.45 Lakh),  with subsequent years of study with 60%+.

Overt, aggressive racism towards Indian students is relatively rare at the Uni of Auckland campus. The university receives 4.5 stars out of 5 for student safety as part of Auckland University student reviews on Shiksha Study Abroad.

The University of Auckland is generally considered the better option for Computer Science in New Zealand than AUT University for the reasons mentioned below:

  • Better global reputation (#176 in the world for PG Computer Science, compared to AUT University's #601)
  • Uses a more deep academic teaching approach with studies of advanced algos, data structures, and computational theory

Indian students have to meet the following entry requirements for admission to UCLan-

  • UG: The students must have passed school education with 60% from all boards (if percentage is required in a subject, then 60% is required in that subject)
  • PG: For admission to UCLan University UK, Indian students should have a 58% in Bachelor's degree OR 55% in Master's degree

The tuition fees for UCLAN University UK for UG students for 2026-27 is GBP 17,750 - GBP 19,500 (Around INR 23 L - INR 25 L). For PG courses, the tuition fee is around GBP 18,750 - GBP 19,500 (Around INR 24 L - INR 25 L).

The accommodation cost at UCLAN University starts from GBP 87 per week  (Around INR 11k).

Based on the rankings for MS Courses, the University of Toronto (U of T) ranked at # 1 but the students should not opt for any University based on only the rankings. There are many other parameters to consider like:

·       Affordability (Tuition Fee/ cost of living)

·       Acceptance Rates

·       Course Value and availability
