Winter intake is better for most Indian students. It offers more programs, better scholarship access, and aligns naturally with the Indian graduation calendar (May–June). Summer is suitable for students who missed Winter or PhD applicants with a confirmed supervisor.

Yes, students can transfer credits from their previous institution to Uni Queensland. This allows students to not repeat similar courses as past studies, and helps reduce the overall programme duration.

Students can apply for credit or exemptions up to 2 weeks before the semester begins. UQ Australia does not accept late applications for credit transfer.

Uni Queensland assesses each application on a case-by-case basis. The time it may take to receive an admission decision may vary depending on the program.

Most applications at Uni Queensland are processed within 4 weeks. Students can check the status of their application via the Uni Queensland online portal or contact a Shiksha Study Abroad counsellor.
