The international UG students of MSU have to pay around USD 45,000 for the tuition fees for the academic year 2025-26. This includes USD 44,300 for tuition (Around INR 39.2 lakh) and USD 1,907 (Around INR 2 lakh) as fees and taxes. The total Undergraduate Michigan State University cost is USD 67,854. For Postgraduate courses of MSU, the tuition fee can range between INR 12.3 Lacs - INR 66 lakh.

For finding right college abroad - first of all do some research about colleges in which you want to take admission. Think about location, costs and available facilities outside of classroom. Then rank your priorities as per pros and cons of particular college. Also keep in mind your budget. For this you have to check tuition fee of college. You can also investigate about job connections of that particular college.

Yes, getting a scholarship to study abroad is completely achieveable. Indian students willing to get a 100% scholarship abroad need to mention the need for a scholarship in their college application and fill the separate scholarship application forms alongside to ensure that they receive information of financial assistance from at least one of the funding bodies.

There cannot be "one-size-fits-all" approach when it comes to selecting a country for doing a PhD abroad for Indians. It's best that students pick a country according to their preferences such as their budget to invest in living costs, language of communication, social, cultural & work environment, professor with whom you want to work, available projects/slots and visa/university acceptance rate. With these factors in place, one can easily shortlist and conclude best country dor doing PhD abroad for themselves. LMU Munich ranking in Times Higher ranking is #34 in 2026. In the previous year's ranking, this university was ranked at #38.
