Getting a seat at CMU Pittsburgh is not easy for Indian students. The university has stringent entry requirements and acceptance rate of just 11%. For entry to most PG courses, a GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale is required in the past UG degree.
Indian students need to maintain strong academics, active extracurricular participation, and prove proficiency in English to be eligible for studies.

Yes, Indian students can study at Carnegie Mellon Uni without IELTS. To do that, they can either submit a valid score in alternative tests like TOEFL, Duolingo, and Cambridge English OR have a UG degree from a regionally accredited US university.
In the latter case, students don't need to submit any English proficiency test score.

Yes, Indian students can transfer to UCL London from their present college or university. However, transfers are strictly limited. UCL only considers transfers into the second year for a limited number of courses. Entry into the 3rd year is not permitted for UG courses.
Interested students need to meet the conditions mentioned below:
- Make an application via UCAS by the UCAS Equal Consideration deadline
- Include a reference from current institution in the application
- Meet the first-year entrance requirements of the program
