For Indian students, the merit-based scholarships are evaluated automatically when applying for the NYUAD admissions

Although there are need-based scholarships also available which is not automatic. The students should apply actively by submitting their CSS profile before the admission deadlines.

Yes, not for all the students but NYU Abu Dhabi conducts interviews as part of the application process for Indian students. These are via invitation only.

The whole interview process is highly structured and these are divided into different formats depending on the stage of the student's application

Students from all over the world are required to use the Common Application for NYU Abu Dhabi admissions. A separate one for the same is not available.

While applying, Indian students should select 'New York University' on the Common App and choose Abu Dhabi campus as the preffered one.

For Indian students, the SAT or ACT scores are optional for the NYU Abu Dhabi admissions

On a different note, these admissions adopt a highly competitive holistic review; the student chooses to submit strong standardised scores for significantly strengthening their profile.

Given below are the competitive standardized test scores for Indian students -

  • SAT: 1450 to 1550
  • ACT: 33 to 35

No, the Abu Dhabi Campus of New York University does not have strict and mandatory course requirements at the high school level.

Although if the Indian applicants want to be highly competitive, they should have completed a curriculum that includes at least 3 to 4 years of the subjects given below -

  • Mathematics
  • History
  • English/Writing
  • Laboratory Sciences
