Tasmania Uni does not fine or charge a interest on overdue tuition costs in case of late payment.  However, a student's enrolment in the course may be cancelled if it is not paid in full by the census date.

Students who have trouble paying their tuition fees on time in one go can request an installment plan to pay the same. Shiksha Study Abroad counsellors offer FREE guidance on how you can request the same.

Sandy Bay is usually considered the best place to stay at near the Tasmania Uni campus. It is just a short 10-15 minute walk away from the campus. The suburb has nice beaches. Popular ones include the Nutgrove Beach and Long Beach.

It also has several supermarkets, cafes, Indian restaurants, and retail shops. It is also very safe and is considered a family-friendly region.

The Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a healthcare plan in Australia. It is mandatory for Indian students to get an OSHC before applying for Australia student visa. The plan covers doctor visits, hospital stays, ambulance services, and some medicine expenses.

It does not cover dental, optical, or physio services. Allianz, Bupa, and Medibank are some popular providers that offer OSHC. Students can also request universities in Australia to help them get one.

Yes, Indian students would need to pay a tuition deposit to confirm their seat at Tasmania Uni. The deposit is usually worth the 1st semester's tuition fees and can be paid via the eStudent or Convera platform. The processing time for the same is worth around 3 business days.

MDX Dubai suggests students to explore free places like Burj Park, the Dubai Mall promenade or Downtown walkways. Scenic places and creative districts like Alserkal Avenue are another option. You could plan a museum stroll, a budget beach day or discover a new café with classmates while studying here.
